In an intense match at CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging defeat against the University of Utah Utes. The final score was Utes 5, Bobcats 2.
Despite the Bobcats’ tenacious attempts, the Utes managed to maintain a strong lead throughout the game. The Utes had a total of 38 shots, while the Bobcats were not far behind with a total of 31 shots. However, the Utes’ offense proved too strong for the Bobcats’ defense.
In terms of powerplay, the Utes did not have any opportunities, while the Bobcats had two chances but unfortunately, were unable to capitalize on either.
The goalies for both teams showcased impressive skills. Utes’ goalie, Miranda De Antunano, had a total of 31 shots and managed to save 29. Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, faced a total of 38 shots and made 33 saves.
The star player of the match was undoubtedly Utes’ #12, Morgan Lavalley, who scored 2 goals. On the Bobcats’ side, #18 Elly Aldrich managed to score a goal.
