The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the University of Utah Utes last night at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The Bobcats gave their all, but ultimately fell to the Utes with a final score of 5-2.

The Utes managed 38 shots throughout the game, while the Bobcats were not far behind with 31. Despite the Bobcats’ two powerplay opportunities, they were unable to capitalize, leaving their powerplay score at 0/2. The Utes, on the other hand, didn’t have any powerplay opportunities but still managed to secure a decisive victory.

In the goalie box, the Utes’ Miranda De Antunano showed impressive skill with a total of 29 saves out of 31 shots. The Bobcats’ Reese McConnell also put up a good fight, saving 33 out of the 38 shots from the Utes.

The game saw Utes’ #12 Morgan Lavalley securing two crucial goals, while Bobcats’ #22 Rylan Lorentz managed to score one.
