The Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the University of Utah Utes with a final score of 5-2 on 20th February 2026. The match, which took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, was a fiery display of skill and tenacity from both teams.
Despite the defeat, the Bobcats put up a commendable fight, managing 31 shots against the Utes’ 38. Unfortunately, their powerplay couldn’t match up, with a 0/2 record compared to the Utes’ 0/0.

Bobcats’ #18 Elly Aldrich managed to secure a goal, demonstrating her exceptional skill and determination. However, the Utes’ #12 Morgan Lavalley stood out with an outstanding performance, scoring 2 goals and leading her team to victory.
