It was a challenging night for the Montana State University Bobcats as they faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the get-go, with a staggering 64 shots on goal compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes’ powerplay was successful 1 out of 3 times, while the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.

The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had an impressive game with 18 saves out of 19 shots. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced an onslaught of shots, managing to save 57 out of 64.

The star player of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. The Bobcats’ only goal came from #20, Marin Snyder.

Despite the difficult game, the Bobcats showed resilience and determination. They will surely take this experience as a learning opportunity and come back stronger in their next game.
