The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes, ending with a 7-1 defeat on February 21, 2026. The showdown took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado.
The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, managing to make 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Bobcats’ defense struggled to keep up with the Antelopes’ aggressive offense, resulting in a significant difference in the final score.
Despite the Bobcats’ best efforts, the Antelopes’ powerplay outperformed them, scoring 1 out of 3 attempts, while the Bobcats were unable to score in their 2 powerplay attempts.
The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had an impressive performance, saving 18 out of 19 shots. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, faced a barrage of shots, making 57 saves out of 64 shots.
The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored an impressive 3 goals. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder managed to score the only goal.
