It was a challenging game for the Montana State University Bobcats as they faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the get-go, taking a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Their powerplay was effective, scoring once out of three attempts, while the Bobcats struggled to convert their two powerplay opportunities.

Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a stellar game, saving 18 out of 19 shots. On the other hand, Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, faced a barrage of shots, managing to save 57 out of 64.

The Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, was the standout player of the match, scoring a hat-trick. The Bobcats’ only goal was scored by #20, Marin Snyder.

Despite the tough loss, the Bobcats showed resilience and will be looking to bounce back in their next game.
