The Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough opponent this Sunday, as they went head to head with the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking an impressive 64 shots against the Bobcats’ 19. Their power play was also more effective, converting on one of three opportunities, while the Bobcats failed to capitalize on their two power play chances.

The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a strong performance, stopping 18 of the 19 shots she faced. On the other side, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson was under constant pressure, making 57 saves on 64 shots.

The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. The only goal for the Bobcats came from #20, Marin Snyder.
