The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.
The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking a total of 64 shots at the Bobcats’ net. Goalie Emma Carlson for the Bobcats put up a brave fight, making 57 saves. However, the onslaught from the Antelopes proved too much for the Bobcats to handle.
On the other hand, the Bobcats managed 19 shots against the Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, who made 18 saves. The Bobcats’ powerplay struggled throughout the match, failing to convert on two opportunities. The Antelopes, however, managed to score on one of their three powerplay attempts.
Bobcats’ #20, Marin Snyder, managed to put one past Olson, scoring the only goal for the Bobcats. The Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, had an outstanding game, scoring three goals.
