In a challenging game at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats fell to the Grand Canyon University Antelopes with a final score of 7-1. The game, which took place on February 21, 2026, saw the Antelopes dominate with a staggering 64 shots on goal compared to the Bobcats’ 19.

Despite the high shot count from the Antelopes, Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, put up a valiant effort with 57 saves out of 64 shots. On the other end of the rink, Antelopes’ goalie Annika Olson only had to make 18 saves out of 19 shots.

The Antelopes also outperformed the Bobcats in powerplays, with a 1/3 success rate, whereas the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.

The star of the game was undoubtedly Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs, who managed to net three goals. Representing the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder scored the team’s only goal of the game.
