Montana State University Bobcats put up a valiant fight against Colorado State University Rams in a thrilling hockey match on October 4, 2025. Despite their best efforts, the Bobcats fell short, with the final score resting at Bobcats 2, Rams 3 at the Edora Pool Ice Center in Colorado.

The Bobcats managed a total of 25 shots throughout the game, while the Rams had a staggering 37 shots. In a surprising turn of events, neither team was able to capitalize on their powerplays, leaving the Bobcats at 0/7 and the Rams at 0/4.

Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, had a remarkable performance with 34 saves out of 37 shots. Rams’ Elizabeth Condon also held strong, making 23 saves out of 25 shots.

The Bobcats’ #4, Maeve Kelleher, added to the scoreboard with a spectacular goal. Meanwhile, Rams’ #5 Megan McDougall showed off her playmaking skills with two assists.
