The Montana State University Bobcats showed their mettle once again with a thrilling 3-1 victory over the Colorado State University Rams on October 5, 2025. The game was held at the Edora Pool Ice Center in Colorado.
Despite the Rams having a slight edge in shots, with 45 compared to the Bobcats’ 43, the Bobcats managed to capitalize on their opportunities more effectively. Both teams struggled on the powerplay, with the Bobcats going 0/1 and the Rams 0/4.
In the net, Bobcats’ goalie Reese Mcconnell put on a show with 44 saves on 45 shots, proving instrumental in the team’s victory. On the other side, Rams’ goalie Morgan Neibauer made 40 saves on 43 shots.
The Bobcats’ #4 Maeve Kelleher and Rams’ #20 Emme Coquet each scored a goal, adding to the excitement of the game.
