The Montana State University Bobcats secured a significant victory over the University of Colorado Buffaloes last night at the Haynes Pavilion. Despite having fewer shots on goal, the Bobcats proved that quality beats quantity as they emerged victorious with a final score of 3-1.

The Buffaloes started the game aggressively, firing a total of 32 shots. However, Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, was in outstanding form, saving an impressive 31 out of 32 shots. On the other hand, the Buffaloes’ goalie, Zoe Watson, managed to save 23 out of 26 shots.

The powerplay for both teams was identical, with both teams failing to capitalize on their 4 powerplay opportunities. The Buffaloes’ only goal was scored by #6 Anna Masiello, while the Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts was the star of the night, netting two goals.

The Bobcats’ victory over the Buffaloes has boosted their morale as they prepare for their next game. They will be facing off against the University of Washington on Friday, October 24th, at 10:15 pm PDT at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington.

Stay tuned for more updates and let’s cheer on our Bobcats as they continue their winning streak!
