The Montana State University Bobcats secured a hard-fought victory against the Colorado State University Rams on October 5th, 2025. The Bobcats outscored the Rams 3-1 in a thrilling match at the Edora Pool Ice Center in Colorado.

The Bobcats fired 43 shots at the Rams’ net, while the Rams retaliated with 45 shots. However, it was the Bobcats who proved to be more accurate, managing to find the back of the net three times. The Rams, despite their valiant efforts, could only manage a single goal.

The goalkeepers for both teams put on a spectacular display. Bobcats’ Reese McConnell faced a barrage of 45 shots but managed to save 44. On the other end, Rams’ Morgan Neibauer made 40 saves out of 43 shots.

Bobcats’ #4 Maeve Kelleher was in fine form, scoring a crucial goal for the team. Rams’ #20 Emme Coquet was the lone goal scorer for her side.

Despite having a powerplay opportunity, the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize on it, while the Rams failed to convert any of their four powerplay chances.
