The Montana State University Bobcats delivered a stellar performance at Haynes Pavilion on October 18th, 2025, securing a 3-1 victory over the University of Colorado Buffaloes. Despite the Buffaloes firing off more shots, the Bobcats’ defense held strong, with goalie Reese McConnell saving 31 out of 32 shots.

The Buffaloes started strong, with Anna Masiello (#6) scoring the first goal of the game. However, the Bobcats quickly retaliated. Nicola Roberts (#26) of the Bobcats emerged as the star of the match, scoring two goals and turning the tide in favor of the home team.

Both teams struggled on the powerplay, with neither team able to capitalize on their opportunities. Buffaloes goalie Zoe Watson managed to save 23 out of 26 shots, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win for the visiting team.
