The Montana State University Bobcats delivered a dominating performance last night, crushing the University of Washington Huskies with a staggering 12-0 victory at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington.

The Bobcats came out firing on all cylinders, taking a total of 41 shots compared to the Huskies’ mere 11. The Huskies were left reeling as they failed to breach the Bobcats’ defense even once. The Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, had an exceptional game, saving all 11 shots taken by the Huskies.

On the offensive end, Bobcats’ #4 Maeve Kelleher was the star of the night, scoring a hat trick. Kelleher was relentless, keeping the Huskies’ goalie Yasmine Mohamed on her toes throughout the game. Despite facing 41 shots, Mohamed managed to save 29, but the onslaught from the Bobcats was too much to handle.

The Huskies’ struggle was further amplified by their ineffective powerplay, failing to convert on both of their two opportunities. The Bobcats, on the other hand, made good use of their opportunities, converting one out of their five powerplays.

The Huskies’ #55 Jocelynn Delamerced was penalized heavily, serving 4 penalty minutes which further crippled the Huskies’ chances of making a comeback.

This victory provides a significant morale boost for the Bobcats as they prepare for their next game. They will be hitting the road to face the University of Denver on Friday, November 14 at 11:40 am MST at the Family Sports Center. The Bobcats will be looking to continue their winning streak and maintain their dominant form.
