The Montana State University Bobcats delivered an exceptional performance in an away game against the University of Washington Huskies on October 24, 2025. The Bobcats dominated the ice, resulting in a resounding 11-0 victory at the Kraken Community Iceplex.
With a total of 45 shots, the Bobcats kept the pressure high throughout the game. The Huskies, on the other hand, were limited to just 24 shots. Despite the Huskies’ defensive efforts, the Bobcats managed to find the back of the net on numerous occasions, leaving no room for a comeback.
Bobcats’ goalie Reese McConnell was perfect in goal, stopping all 24 shots he faced. His counterpart, Huskies’ Yasmine Mohamed, had a challenging night, managing to save only 34 out of 45 shots.
One of the standout performers of the game was Bobcats’ #22, Rylan Lorentz, who netted two goals. On the other side, Huskies’ #23, Regan Thomas, ended the game without any penalty minutes.
The powerplay opportunities for both teams were few and far between, with neither team managing to capitalize.
The Bobcats will look to continue their winning streak as they face the Huskies once again on October 25, at the Kraken Community Iceplex. With their current form, the Bobcats will undoubtedly be a formidable opponent for the Huskies.
