In a stunning display of skill and teamwork, the Montana State University Bobcats decimated the University of Washington Huskies with an 11-0 victory on October 24th, 2025. The game was held at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington, where the Bobcats proved their dominance on the ice.

The Bobcats fired an impressive 45 shots, overwhelming the Huskies’ defense throughout the game. In contrast, the Huskies managed only 24 shots, all of which were expertly saved by Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell.

Despite having no powerplay opportunities, the Bobcats’ offense was unstoppable. Rylan Lorentz, wearing jersey #22, led the team with two goals, contributing significantly to the Bobcats’ massive lead.

On the other side of the rink, the Huskies’ goalie, Yasmine Mohamed, faced a barrage of shots, managing to save 34 out of the 45. Unfortunately for the Huskies, their offense could not break through the Bobcats’ defense, and they were unable to score a single goal.

Brighid Donohue from the Huskies, wearing jersey #29, had a clean game with no penalty minutes, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide for the team.

The Bobcats will face the Huskies again in their next game, which will be held away at the Kraken Community Iceplex on October 25th. If this game was any indication, the Bobcats are more than ready to take on their opponents. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting hockey season.
