In an exciting display of skill and determination, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a decisive 3-1 victory over the University of Colorado Buffaloes on October 18th, 2025. The game, which took place at Haynes Pavilion, saw the Bobcats outperform the Buffaloes despite fewer shots on goal.

The Bobcats had 26 shots compared to the Buffaloes’ 32, but it was the quality of their shots that made the difference. The Bobcats’ powerplay was 0/4, mirroring the Buffaloes’ performance in this area. However, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, had an impressive game, saving 31 out of 32 shots. The Buffaloes’ goalie, Zoe Watson, saved 23 out of 26.

The star of the game was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts, who scored two of the three goals for the Bobcats. The Buffaloes’ only goal was scored by #6 Anna Masiello.
