Last night, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a hard-fought victory over the University of Colorado Buffaloes in a riveting hockey match at Haynes Pavilion. The Bobcats defeated the Buffaloes with a final score of 3-1.

Despite the Buffaloes having a higher shot count of 32 compared to the Bobcats’ 26, the Bobcats proved more efficient in their scoring. Both teams had equal opportunities on the powerplay, but neither team managed to capitalize, ending the game with a powerplay score of 0/4 for both sides.

The goaltenders on both ends put up a commendable performance. Zoe Watson of the Buffaloes faced 26 shots and made 23 saves. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ Reese McConnell had a stellar game, facing 32 shots and making an impressive 31 saves.

The game saw some outstanding individual performances as well. Anna Masiello of the Buffaloes scored their only goal of the match. However, the star of the night was undoubtedly the Bobcats’ Nicola Roberts, who scored two brilliant goals, leading her team to victory.
