In an electrifying display of skill and teamwork, the Montana State University Bobcats hockey team triumphed over the University of Washington Huskies with a stunning 12-0 victory on October 25, 2025, at Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington.

The Bobcats dominated the game from the start, peppering the Huskies’ net with a total of 41 shots. In contrast, the Huskies struggled to generate offense, managing only 11 shots throughout the game. The Bobcats’ powerplay efficiency was also impressive, converting 1 out of 5 opportunities, while the Huskies failed to capitalize on their two powerplay chances.

The star of the game was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #4 Maeve Kelleher, who netted a hat trick, further widening the gap between the two teams. On the other hand, Huskies’ #55 Jocelynn Delamerced spent the most time in the penalty box with 4 penalty minutes, which didn’t help the Huskies’ cause.

Bobcats’ goalie Reese Mcconnell had a perfect game, stopping all 11 shots he faced, while Huskies’ Yasmine Mohamed had a tough night, allowing 12 goals on 41 shots.

The Bobcats will look to continue their winning streak as they face off against the University of Denver on Friday, November 14 at 11:40 am MST at the Family Sports Center. With their current form, the Bobcats are sure to give the Denver team a run for their money.
