The Montana State University Bobcats delivered an outstanding performance last night, shutting out the University of Washington Huskies with an impressive 11-0 victory. The game, held at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington, saw the Bobcats dominate the ice with a staggering 45 shots compared to the Huskies’ 24.
The Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, had a perfect game with 24 saves, denying the Huskies any chance of getting on the scoreboard. On the other end of the rink, the Huskies’ goalie, Yasmine Mohamed, faced a barrage of shots, making 34 saves out of 45.
One of the standout players of the match was Bobcats’ #10, Faith Hobbs, who scored two goals, contributing significantly to the team’s victory. Notably, the game saw no powerplay opportunities for either team, and Huskies’ #3, Skylar Oh, managed to avoid any penalty minutes.
The Bobcats will face the Huskies again in their next game, set to take place on Saturday, October 25, at the Kraken Community Iceplex. If their performance in this match is anything to go by, the Bobcats are set to deliver another thrilling game. Stay tuned for more updates.
