The Montana State University Bobcats suffered a narrow defeat against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes, with the final score reading 0-1. The match took place at AZ Ice Arcadia on January 30, 2026.

Despite a strong defensive performance, the Bobcats were unable to find the back of the net, ending the game with 28 shots compared to the Antelopes’ 52. Neither team was able to capitalize on their powerplays, with both teams going 0 for 4.

Bobcats goalie, Reese McConnell, put up a valiant effort, saving 51 of the 52 shots he faced. On the other end, Antelopes’ Annika Olson managed a shutout, saving all 28 shots from the Bobcats.
