The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game on Sunday, January 30th, 2026, against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The Bobcats were unable to secure a goal, resulting in a final score of 0-1 in favor of the Antelopes.
The game took place at AZ Ice Arcadia in Arizona, where the Antelopes had the home rink advantage. Despite the Bobcats’ valiant efforts, they were unable to penetrate the Antelopes’ defense. The Bobcats managed a total of 28 shots, but none were successful against the Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, who made 28 saves.
On the other hand, the Antelopes had a total of 52 shots, with one successful goal by Taylor Zahalka, #5. The Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, put up a solid performance with 51 saves out of 52 shots.
Both teams had four power plays, but neither team was able to capitalize on these opportunities. The Bobcats’ #20, Marin Snyder, received two penalty minutes.
