The Montana State University Bobcats delivered a stunning performance on the ice last night, clinching a 4-1 victory against the University of Wyoming Pokes. The game, held at Haynes Pavilion, saw the Bobcats dominate despite being outshot by the Pokes.

The Pokes took a total of 55 shots against the Bobcats who managed 35. However, the Bobcats’ resilience and strategic play saw them come out on top. Both teams struggled on the powerplay, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats 0/4.

In the goalie matchup, the Pokes’ Pudgie Sabinash faced 35 shots, saving 31, while the Bobcats’ Reese McConnell had an impressive night with 54 saves out of 55 shots.

The scoring was opened by the Pokes’ #2 Zoey Brown, but it was the Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts who had the final say with her goal sealing the victory for the Bobcats.
