In a challenging match-up, the Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The game took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink on February 21, 2026. Despite their best efforts, the Bobcats fell to the Antelopes with a final score of 7-1.
The Antelopes dominated the ice, taking a whopping 64 shots on goal compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, had her work cut out for her, making 57 saves against the onslaught. On the other side of the rink, Antelopes’ goalie Annika Olson had a quieter night, facing only 19 shots and making 18 saves.
The powerplay statistics told a similar story, with the Antelopes capitalizing on one of their three opportunities, while the Bobcats were unable to convert on either of their two powerplays.
One of the standout players of the night was the Antelopes’ Jennae Szucs (#12), who managed to net three goals. For the Bobcats, Marin Snyder (#20) scored the lone goal.
