The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026. The match, hosted at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, ended with a disappointing 7-1 defeat for the Bobcats.
The Antelopes dominated the game with a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Bobcats struggled to find their footing, and their powerplay was 0/2, while the Antelopes managed to score on one of their three powerplays.
Goalkeeping was a significant factor in this game. The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, put on a stellar performance with 18 saves from 19 shots. Meanwhile, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, managing to save 57 out of the 64.
The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick, significantly contributing to the Antelopes’ victory. On the Bobcats’ side, #20 Marin Snyder managed to score the only goal for the team.
