The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on the 21st of February, 2026, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.
The Antelopes dominated the game with a staggering 64 shots compared to the 19 shots by the Bobcats. The Antelopes also managed to convert one of their three powerplays into a goal, while the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.
In the net, the Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, was impressive, blocking 18 out of the 19 shots from the Bobcats. On the other side, Emma Carlson of the Bobcats faced a barrage of attacks, managing to save 57 of the 64 shots.
The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs who netted three goals. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder scored the only goal, offering a sliver of hope in an otherwise challenging game.
