In a thrilling game on February 7th, 2026, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a decisive victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes. The final score stood at Bobcats 4, Pokes 1, marking a significant win for the Bobcats at the Haynes Pavilion.
Despite the Pokes taking a whopping 55 shots, Bobcats’ goalie Reese McConnell put on a stellar performance, saving 54 of those attempts. On the other hand, the Bobcats made 35 shots, with Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash managing to save 31.
Both teams had their chances with powerplays, but neither could capitalize. The Pokes had three opportunities, while the Bobcats had four, but the scoreline remained unaffected by these advantageous moments.
