The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging evening on the ice as they squared off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score saw the Antelopes dominate with a 7-1 victory over the Bobcats.

The Antelopes came out swinging with a staggering 64 shots on goal, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes’ power play was also successful, with a conversion rate of 1/3, while the Bobcats struggled to capitalize on their opportunities, going 0/2.

Both goalies put up a valiant effort. The Antelopes’ Annika Olson faced 19 shots and made 18 saves. Meanwhile, Bobcats’ Emma Carlson was under constant pressure, facing 64 shots and making 57 saves.

The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs, who managed to secure a hat trick with 3 goals. The Bobcats’ only goal came from #20 Marin Snyder.
