In a challenging game for the Montana State University Bobcats, the team suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The game, which took place on February 21, 2026, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado, ended with a score of 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.

The Antelopes came out strong, dominating the game with a whopping 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The powerplay also favored the Antelopes, who managed to score once in their three attempts while the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize on their two powerplays.

In the goaltending department, the Antelopes’ Annika Olson was on top of her game, saving 18 out of 19 shots. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, making 57 saves out of 64.

The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs, who managed to score an impressive hat trick. Despite the tough game, the Bobcats’ #20 Marin Snyder was able to put one on the board for her team.
