In a thrilling home game at Haynes Pavilion, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a solid victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes, with a final score of 4-1. Despite the Pokes taking more shots at the goal, the Bobcats’ defense held strong, leading to their win.

The Pokes fired 55 shots, but Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, was in top form, saving an impressive 54 of those attempts. The Bobcats, on the other hand, took 35 shots, four of which found their way past Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash.

Neither team was successful on the powerplay, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats 0/4. This didn’t dampen the Bobcats’ spirits, however, as they continued to press their advantage.

Pokes’ #2, Zoey Brown, managed to score a solitary goal, but it was not enough to turn the tide. On the Bobcats’ side, #26 Nicola Roberts contributed significantly to the victory with her goal.

The Bobcats will look to continue their winning form in their next game, which is a home encounter against the University of Utah on Friday, February 20 at CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink (CO). The Bobcats’ fans will surely be anticipating another exhilarating match.
