In a thrilling display of ice hockey, the Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious over the University of Wyoming Pokes with a final score of 4-1. The game took place at the Haynes Pavilion on February 7, 2026.

Despite having fewer shots on goal, the Bobcats managed to capitalize on their opportunities. The Pokes had 55 shots, but only one resulted in a goal. The Bobcats, on the other hand, had 35 shots and converted four of them into goals. Neither team managed to score on the powerplay, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats 0/4.
