The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado.

The Bobcats struggled to keep up with the Antelopes, who came out strong and maintained a high level of aggression throughout the game. The Antelopes dominated the rink with a staggering 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19.

The Antelopes also had a more effective powerplay, scoring 1 out of 3 attempts, while the Bobcats failed to capitalize on their 2 powerplay opportunities.

Goalkeeping was another area where the Antelopes had the upper hand. Their goalie, Annika Olson, managed to save 18 out of 19 shots. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, faced a barrage of 64 shots and was able to save 57.

The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. The only goal for the Bobcats was scored by #20, Marin Snyder.
